About Me

Animals have always been a major part of my life. Over the years I have owned countless dogs and cats but also snakes, birds, rodents, ferrets, goats, pigs, and horses. Currently I am the lucky parent of two dogs, a Miniature Pinscher named Zoey and a Doberman named Harley.

I have done pet sitting for friends, family, and coworkers over the years. From 1 day drop-ins to a week or more of daily visits, I want owners to have peace of mind that their pets are safe and secure when they can’t be there. However, my experience with animals also encompasses much more.

For the past 10 years, I have been involved in the rescue community. Fostering animals until they find their forever homes is a passion that I will always have. I assist with adoptions, help families decide which pet might be the right fit, and work with animals who might need extra care including behavioral and medical issues. I have given foster care to dogs and cats from newborn babies to those in their last days of life.

5 years ago, I was thrilled to land my dream job in veterinary medicine. I started at a large shelter in Las Vegas as a technician assistant. When we moved to Florida, I continued the work at a private clinic in Fort Myers. I have had the pleasure of working with cats, dogs, snakes, rabbits, rodents, turtles, ferrets, birds, goats, pigs, and even some wildlife.

My background sets me apart from many pet sitters. I have a deep knowledge of animal health including, but not limited to, first aid and CPR. I have also studied behavior and have a wide array of tips and tricks for helping pets and their owners. The veterinary field has taught me good communication, multitasking, organization, and how to be calm under pressure. By choosing me, you get more than just someone who loves pets, you get a professional level of care for all your pet’s needs.
